FMA K-8 is currently serving grades K through 2nd grade for the '25-26 school year, with plans to expand one grade level per year until we reach 8th grade.

  • We currently offer full day instruction for kindergarten through second grade for the 2025-2026 school year. We also offer extended care before and after school hours. 

    A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.

  • All Instructional Personnel at First Methodist Academy have at least one of the following qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in any Subject

    2. Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience

    3. Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects.

      *Currently, all of our classroom teachers are Florida state certified.
