The five-week Wednesday Lift study titled "The Church's Life & Message in a Time of Threat" is a five-week study of 1st & 2nd Timothy & Titus, looking at background and major themes, not verse by verse.  Retired Pastor Charles Weaver will lead this five-week class in the CLC, Room 1201.
 

The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts

When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior Redeemer, we were given the Holy Spirit, who indwells us, lives within us. The Holy Spirit then gave every believer a spiritual gift or gifts.  How do we identify our spiritual gifts?  What is the purpose of our gifts?  Does the Bible give a list of our spiritual gifts?  Do spiritual gifts change over time?  Are spiritual gifts temporary or permanent?  Are spiritual gifts different from talents?  Is there more than one way to discover our spiritual gifts?  Come and learn about God's gift of grace of spiritual gifts given through the Holy Spirit.  Linda Petrilla will lead this five-week class in the CLC, Room 1208.
